A Media Parable for "the Center"

At the simplest, most ecumenical level, to be on the left means to take the side of the underdog, whoever that may be: the meek, the poor and, generally speaking, the ‘least among us,’ as a well-known representative of the left position put it a couple of millenniums ago.”

But really, isn’t it harder to be sexually active in pants as compared to a skirt?

It said that, by wearing trousers, young girls risked becoming “tomboys” who became sexually active.

We’ve seen over almost eight years George Bush’s hostility towards free markets. First, with the USA PATRIOT Act, he increased financial regulation. Second, he nationalized airport security. Sure the Democrats wanted it and he didn’t, but that didn’t stop him from going along. Then he nationalized prescription drugs for seniors. Then, of course, the bailout–a huge dose of central planning in financial markets. George Bush put a huge amount of power in the hands of one man, Hank Paulsen, who has what Friedrich Hayek called “the fatat conceit,” the conceit that he could plan people’s financial lives with their money better than they can plan with their own money.

I will make sure to never patronize Coastal Hottub or buy Boku Superfood since they employ known gay-bashing polygamous cult-members. C, meet Dooce.

I’m working almost everyday now for Jim, my boss at the Softub Store and his neighbor who owns Boku International LLC.

And like a typical good little mormon wife, has to defer to her husband as to why she hates gay people.  What hypocrites!

I’m no expert when it comes to the issues, but this one stirs my blood. For more expert explanation of my position you can go to ProtectMarriage.com or my husband’s blog, Latter-day Commentary.
